Malt Master David C. Stewart has enjoyed times exploring the Madeira region and wines they produce, inspiring this experimentation of the cask type for finishing. Overflowing flavours of blackcurrants and brambles slowly layer upon gingery syrup and delicate spice. Ripe fruitness from fresh peaches lead to a citrus orange zing, hazelnuts and crisp oakiness coating the pallet.
