Not only are quarter cask expressions a rarity, but they are also unique in Speyside. Expertly managed cask maturation includes an extended period in specially crafted quarter casks. This further enhances our exceptional spirit to give a smooth, full-flavoured dram. The quarter cask, like the name suggests, is a much smaller cask so more liquid can be in contact with the barrel. Taking the sweet, fruity Speyside style of BenRiach, we've further enriched it with contrasting spicy oak notes through an extended maturation in quarter casks. This process balances the influence of the cask with our signature distillery character.
